Prepare materials in advance to support the smooth progress of this study. Water, plaster strips, plates, and paint brushes are all necessary materials
Make the prototype of the shape and prepare it for coloring
Play around with the plaster finger puppet and use the paint brush to apply the desired color
Remain patient and leave it on hands for a while to air dry to avoid unwanted deformation.

The importance of using a process approach for young children
Children are always exploring as well as discovering through a hands-on and engaging process. The process of making finger puppet molds exposes children to more everyday materials and allows them to use these materials to develop their own independent thinking and design skills. Their creativity is increased and they express their ideas through different materials and colors. It is worth mentioning that the process of applying plaster is a very safe process for young children because of the special nature of this material, which is very soft and will not hurt the children's skin. Finally, in this process it can promote children's practical skills, independent learning ability, creativity, and contribute to their overall development and growth.

In the early years, creativity and imagination need to be nurtured. When children need to design their own unique finger puppets, choosing the concept and designing the colours and shapes can stimulate their creative thinking and help them express their ideas and feelings. This activity can also help young children showcase their own personalities and ideas. In this case, this activity allows children to progress and grow through play.
According to Fox and Schirrmacher(2014), the element of art The balance is unusual and intriguing (Fox & Schirrmacher, 2014, p. 129) Children can relate to the concept of balance and imbalance by applying plaster and making finger puppet molds. Children need to carefully wrap and apply plaster to their fingers to ensure an even application, as an uneven coating of plaster may result in a puppet that does not support itself well. When creating more elaborate shapes for the plaster base, there is a need to be exposed to imbalance, and often what is balanced does not have the ultimate beauty, but rather the imbalance gives a more realistic feel to the design. And when painting the plaster model, it is not possible to achieve 100% uniformity, so unbalanced design is also involved.
